Srinagar, May 5: Continuing with its dream run, the Real Kashmir Football Club (RKFC) Sunday emerged winners of 26th State Football Championship 2018-19.

The last League match of the Championship was played between RKFC and DFA Srinagar teams at Astro turf Ground here.

The match started on an aggressive note with Real Kashmir FC’s Shahid scoring a goal in the fourth minute.

Both teams played tactical and aggressive football, however RKFC ensured it always stayed ahead in the game.

The spectators appreciated the short passes of Real Kashmir FC. DFA Srinagar XI tried hard to equalize but could not find the net. The first half ended with 1:0 in favour of Real Kashmir FC.

The second half of the match started with DFA vainly trying to break the energetic RKFC defense line.

Both the teams exhibited quality football and enthralled the audience. In 38th minute of the 2nd half, Mehran of RKFC converted a free kick straight into the net thereby increasing the margin.
